Singleton Lodge Wedding Photography: A wedding day is always the most happy of occasions but it has to be said, that an Xmas wedding has an extra sprinkling thrown in too and Will & Charlotte’s day …… was no exception to the rule! When I was selecting a few pictures today, for my follow-up blog, it got me thinking how each and every picture that I take does indeed have a story attached – even though there will be several hundred in all! For example, my picture of Charlotte’s father, Gerard, seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time is such an emotional moment. The shot of the bride looking at the groom, as she walks down the aisle (St Michael Church, Weeton), with him looking down is also an untold ‘story’; Will told me later that he just couldn’t look back at Charlotte as he just knew that emotions would get the better of him. The shot of the bride’s father’s speech I had to include too as it reminded me of just what an entertaining speech it really was! Also, I had to put in a couple of the breakfast room itself, which really did look stunningly Christmassy – a credit to Joanne & Peter’s staff at Singleton Lodge. Finally, a picture of Will & Charlotte’s First Dance – sometimes a time of nervous anticipation for a couple – but hey, you pulled it off guys! Have to include a shout out to ‘The Funtime Frankies’ – great to meet you all & you sounded just fab!
